For my Rat Pack Sisters

This entry is specifically for my Rat Pack sisters @ Gilda's... I've quit cold turkey, no more movie at night. I just stopped. I turn off the TV and just fall asleep to nothing instead of that movie!!! And I got up yesterday and made my children a "big breakfast" of eggs, and pancakes (something I have not done for a very long time).

So, I've follwed your advice, and I think I'm starting to feel better already. I didn't throw it away like Shannon wanted but I have not watched it since the night before our last meeting!! Alyson, could you please give me a link to Shannon's blog, I have a prayer request for a stage 4 women in my church that is just feeling "
useless" and I want to encourage her to come to a meeting, or to read Shannon's blog. She was given 2-3 years to live and it's been 4!!!

Well, thank you Rat Pack for helping me get out of a bad habit that was affecting my life!!

Love you all

Blessings,
\

Shanda- I'm very proud of you. Doesn't it feel good to have the strength to stop a habit you really want to continue doing even though you know you shouldn't? It's a huge step in the right direction, good job girl!!
I'll email you Shannon's blog address and I'm going to send your blog address out to the Rack Pack group so they can read this entry and follow along as you continue on your amazing journey.

Hey Shanda,
Yeah!! No more depressing movie. I am so proud of you. Habits are a very hard thing to change. I'm glad to hear that you were able to get up so hopefully you are seeing the benefit of not watching that movie. I still vote to throw it away, but you're certainly making a huge change in your life. You won't regret it. Oh, and if you want to check out my blog it is...

Just read your whole blog AGAIN...

There is very few people in the world that could go through what your going through, and have been through and make it.

God's grace truly is sufficient....I should have counted how many time I read "GOD IS GOOD" and I know you believe that, more than anything.

I just want you to know that I am just another person that prays for you and you have been placed on my prayer list and I will try to pray for you every single day.

God has blessed you so, Shanda, he has always taken care of you, and he always will!

You are a beacon of light, reflecting Christ, and a real encouragement to all.
