This a.m I got an infusa-port put into my left chest so they can now give me chemo and take blood out of the port instead of poking me with needles. Since they can only poke me in the right arm, my veins over there are getting quite upset. Surgery went well, I was pretty sick before and after because I could not take my anti-nausea medication but I am doing much better now. My parents are here, holding down the fort and I was able to take a nap today. The port site really hurts a lot, but other than that no pain from chemo. I had a horrible headache last night, and calf and lower leg bone pain that was pretty uncomfortable. I did not sleep that well last night, hopefully I will sleep better tonight. God is good, Pastor Larry from my church came to the hospital and visited me and prayed for me. I am soooooooo blessed to have my friends and family to love, help, support and pray for me!! I am one blessed woman! ***hugs*** to everyone, have a GREAT day! oh.. p.s.. this picture is of the Badlands in South Dakota. The children and I went hiking there in July, it was HOT but a great workout!! I think it was a mile, or two mile hike.
