It's All Gone!!!

I officially took my first step today.. well, actually I took a few steps today :). I got my hair cut and I went to the look good, feel better program today put on at a local hospital by the American Cancer Society! What a great program! They gave us a bunch of really nice make-up, did a makeup presentation, and a wig presentation, and they even had a long haired wig they gave me for free!!! It was great to meet some fellow "sisters" in the fight against breast cancer, some very sweet women AND, due to today's meeting, I may do my chemotherapy at St. Joe's, a hospital much much closer than U of M. I have a meeting tommorow with their chemotherapy department. It's in the next city over, and Ann Arbor is over an hour away. So I have that decision to make in the next day or two. I think it will be easier to get rides, and babysitters if I do chemo at a closer hospital. I met about 5 women who loved the chemo department at St. Joe's so I am kinda greatful for that. I go to my second support group meeting tommorow at night, and it's a specific breast cancer group, the last one I went to was a general cancer group. I am learning more each and every day! Life is wonderful :)! Thanks Janelle for the haircut!! Your a blessing :) :).
